Who's playing in the South this week..

SATURDAY night sees Keane play at Southampton Guildhall.

The rock band, who are releasing their new single, This is the Last Time, on Novemeber 22 are currently touring the UK after much success with record sales in the UK.

Their number one album Hopes & Fears has recently hit one million sales and has sold a further 700,000 copies outside the UK.

Tickets have unfortunately sold out already but keep an eye on What's On for future tour dates.

THE rock just keeps on coming at Southampton Guildhall this weekend. On Sunday The Thrills will be thrilling their fans with a spectacular live show.

The group has received critical acclaim from both sides of the Atlantic as well as a bundle of NME, Brit and Q Award nominations.

OLA Onabule, the new voice of old soul, is currently on a 32-date UK tour, which is stopping off at Havant Arts Centre on Friday. With influences from soul superstars such as Otis Reading and Stevie Wonder, Ola Onabule's voice is rich in melody and set to ring out around Havant tonight.

NOT satisfied with being a talented band, Southampton band Toupe are showing their caring side on Saturday with a charity gig at The Joiners Arms, Southampton.

The band is raising money for cystic fibrosis charities and families alongside bands Stout, Daughters Courageous and Rival Joustas. Organised by the Stout band members, who sadly lost a friend to cystic fibrosis, the night is packed with talented bands that want to do what they can to help those who suffer. Tickets: £8. IVOR Novello award nominated artist Gordon Giltrap will appear at The Quay Arts Centre, Newport on Friday. Gordon has had six albums and is famous for the single Heartsong, featured on BBC One's Holiday programme.

The night is set to celebrate the true master of the guitar that is Gordon Giltrap.

TRIO FUEGO bring together all that is classical and present a new contemporary sound and style at the Turner Sims Conert Hall in Southampton on Monday. The trio appeals to classical audiences as well as jazz and light music lovers.

The afternoon performance is free.

MAGIC is a highly sought after tribute band to Electric Light Orchestra and they will be appearing in Fareham with their latest offering, A Kind of ELO.

A Kind of ELO is being performed at Ferneham Hall on Thursday.
