GOOD vibrations will be felt in Portsmouth this week, courtesy of the Beach Boys.

The band doesn't quite feature the same line-up as in the 60s when the Californian family band dominated the charts with such hits as Surfin' USA, I Get Around, God Only Knows and Good Vibrations.

Indeed, none of the original Wilson family members feature in this line-up, with Carl and Dennis having died and Brian off doing his own thing.

But Mike Love is still going strong and fronting the group on lead vocals.

He is joined by Bruce Johnston, Tim Bonhomme and John Cowsill on keyboards and vocals, Mike Kowalski on drums, Adrian Baker and Scott Totten on guitar and vocals and Chris Farmer on bass and vocals.

Fans of the Beach Boys' easy, laid-back, sun-kissed rhythms can look forward to hearing their favourite hits and a lot more besides.

Portsmouth Guildhall. Tuesday, November 17th. Performance: 7.30pm. Tickets: £32.50. Box office: 023 9282 4355.
