EVERYONE'S celebrating down at Hordle Primary School after planning permission was granted for £230,000 worth of building work.
Pupils and staff are now hoping that the work will start in February to create a new head teacher's office at the front of the school and an enlarged staffroom.
The school office will be moved to the forefront of the building to enhance security and additional teaching and storage space will also be provided.
Head teacher Tina Bunting said: "We are absolutely delighted and it has taken two years from start to finish.
"The project is mainly about internal remodelling and the main purpose is to create a staffroom that's big enough for all the staff. At the moment when we have staff meetings, members of staff have to sit on the floor."
