HAMPSHIRE PGA trainees defeated the Hampshire county juniors at Test Valley to retain the Paul Hurring Memorial Trophy.
After losing the morning foursomes the Hampshire PGA trainees, captained by East Horton's David Porter, fought back in the afternoon singles to run out winners by 7 matches to 4.
Morning foursomes (PGA trainees' names first): David Porter & Charlie Gold beat Toby Burden & Alex Rule, Chris Hudson & Simon Tillson lost to Tom Hobbs & Steve Mitchell,
Sam Holloway & Simon Hill lost to Barry Wearing & Darren Wright, Paul Bowden & Ryan Hicks lost to Tony Hobbs & Stephen Lee.
Singles: Gold beat Wright, Hill halved with Burden, Tillson beat Tom Hobbs, Porter beat Rule, Bowden lost to Mitchell, Hicks beat Wearing, Holloway beat Lee, Hudson beat Tony Hobbs.
