Starring Georgie Fame, From Basin Street to Broadway, at The Anvil, Basingstke tonight, is a new jazz show with seven of the finest middle of the road jazz musicians to be found today.
Georgie Fame had a string of hits including Yeh, Yeh, Getaway and Bonnie and Clyde, all of which reached number one in the charts, and is heralded as one of Europe's best-ever jazz singers.
From Basin Street to Broadway is organised by and stars Keith Smith - trumpeter, bandleader and international jazz star, who has been performing professionally for more than forty years.
