ANDOVER'S defunct Cricklade theatre will remain closed for at least the next year regardless of the outcome of current negotiations with the college.
The revelation was made at Monday's Andover Councillors' Forum by Test Valley Borough Council leader, Ian Carr who said hopefully the theatre would open again but that would depend on how well negotiations went.
Cllr Leonard Gates said many Andover people wanted to be kept up-to-date about the theatre and suggested the council put the matter under 'outstanding matters' which would result in an update each month.
