Matt Speakman celebrated his second win of the season in his Rover Gti at Castle Combe on the Bank Holiday Monday.
Venturing out for qualifying he had clear track and this gave the local driver time to acquaint himself fully with the layout and he set a time giving him second in class between Gti rivals Martin Ward and Martin Young.
Making a bad start to the race Speakman found himself a long way behind Ward but fortunately Young had also made a bad start.
