EX-SAINT Nick Holmes's return to Salisbury City has been delayed by the hurricanes in Florida.

Whites' general manager was unable to make it back for last night's Ryman Premier trip to Windsor & Eton, which ended in a third straight defeat for his Wiltshire side.

Although they lost 2-1, it was a much-improved performance by City who welcomed defenders Andy Cook and Michael Cooper back from injury.

Salisbury were unfortunate to fall behind in the 36th minute when the ball ran loose from a block tackle and sat up invitingly for Adam Mansuetto to tuck away.

Whites deservedly equalised with 20 minutes remaining - Tubbs chasing Cooper's long clearance, slipping his marker and unleashing a shot, which keeper Chuck Martini could only push away for Wayne Turk to belt in.

But six minutes later Windsor's Lewis Cook broke down the left by-line, slipped past substitute Matt Davies and teed up Tony Reid's headed winner.

It was rough luck on Salisbury who had hit the bar through Aaron Cook in the first half. Team manager Mark Kelly, the former Pompey winger, threw himself on for the last five minutes but couldn't inspire an equaliser.
