ST MARY'S Church in Southampton was the venue for an over-50s celebration of life.
Attractions included a performance by The Southampton City Albion Band with the Crescent Singers.
The special service was the first event of Southampton's annual Over-50s Festival.
Over the next fortnight the city's more mature residents will be able to enjoy everything from making pizzas and playing petanque to behind-the-scenes tours of St Mary's Stadium.
