Test Valley Golf Club's Championships provided plenty of excitement despite this weekend's sweltering temperatures.
It was decided in a playoff between John Cogan and Mark Kitching, who having finished level after 36 holes entered a sudden death situation, played over the tenth and 18th holes.
The tenth was halved so they headed to the 18th where John Cogan won with an excellent par, having hit his tee shot into the trees.
