WHIST drive: It's the August whist drive on Thursday, from 6.45pm to start at 7.15pm, in the Millennium Village Hall.
SUMMER show: Cliddesden, Farleigh Wallop and Ellisfield Horticultural Society's summer show is next Saturday, August 14, in the hall.
Information is available from the village representative if you wish to enter the show.
OPEN access play centre: Basingstoke Play Council is providing an open access play centre in the Millennium Village Hall.
It will operate between August 16 and 20, from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
The fee is £1 per session, with a 30p charge for a mid-morning drink and biscuit. No booking is necessary.
The sessions are for five to 11-year-olds, but any under-fives must be accompanied by an adult.
