FOOTBALL mad toddlers will soon be able to hone their soccer skills as a new coaching technique for youngsters comes to Whiteley.
Budding Wayne Rooneys are signing up in their droves for the new classes at the Meadowside Centre, which start in September.
Sessions are made up of footballing basics helping toddlers develop skills like co-ordination and colour, shape and number recognition.
Regional co-ordinator Michelle Bowman said: "There will be some parents who see it as the first step on a the ladder to a football career and that's fine.
"It is about using football as a vehicle to give very young children the confidence to deal with social situations as well as encouraging them to work as part of a team."
Socatots caters for children from when they start crawling up to the age of five.
Courses are also starting up in West End and Hedge End. To register call 01489 559557.
