A couple from very different backgrounds who are separated for several years when the Second World War breaks out are reunited as she is about to marry.

I'M NOT SCARED (15):

Italian coming-of-age film set in the 70s about a boy who befriends another boy of his own age who is chained in a hole.

THE CAT IN THE HAT (PG): Live action version of the Dr Seuss book starring Mike Myers as The Cat. Children will probably enjoy this but it is so far from the original story that Dr Seuss fans may be disappointed.

THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW (PG): Environmental disaster movie which sees global warming cause a series of super-storms which devastate the northern hemisphere.

HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN (PG): The third and darkest instalment of the Harry Potter films. It's Harry's third year at Hogwarts and he discovers that convicted murderer, Sirius Black, has escaped from prison and may be coming after him.

KILL BILL: VOLUME 2 (18): The Bride continues her killing spree in order to get revenge on the gang which killed every other member of her wedding party and left her for dead.

MEAN GIRLS (12A): New girl at school Cady (Lindsay Lohan) infiltrates the cool girl gang in order to bring them down but slowly turns into one of them.

SCOOBY-DOO 2: MONSTERS UNLEASHED (PG): The Scooby gang go up against a villain who is re-creating all their previous foes, such as The Creeper and Captain Cutler.

TROY (15): Above average historical epic based on Homer's Iliad, about the Greek siege of Troy, starring Brad Pitt as Achilles

VAN HELSING (12A): The first of the summer blockbusters, starring Hugh Jackman as a monster-catcher who has been sent on a mission to kill Dracula.
