The ECB Southern Electric Premier League will be putting the euphoria of its double Twenty20 Challenge triumph over Hampshire to one side when the championship programme resumes in earnest tomorrow, 11.30am.

The Premier part-timers whipped the crestfallen county stars twice in this week's Twenty20 warm-up games - first by seven wickets and then by a ten-run margin.

But tomorrow they'll be swapping their red and black attire for traditional "whites" - with crucial points at stake in the fifth of nine rounds of all-day 'time' matches.

With the season at the halfway point, it's mighty tight at the top, with South Wilts enjoying a slender lead over defending champions BAT Sports and 2002 winners Havant, who share second place.

South Wilts, brimming with confidence after a five-match winning burst, will be without their two front line bowlers in the BBC Radio Solent live feature match at Bashley tomorrow.

Combined Services paceman Alex Senneck is on Army duty in Northern Ireland but left-armer James Tomlinson, who was on the receiving end of a real mauling from the Premier League batsmen in this week's Twenty20 games, may play after being left out of the Hampshire squad at The Oval.

South Wilts have a slight doubt over their former county opener Jason Laney, who injured his right hand while hitting a match-winning half century in the Twenty20 victory at Bournemouth on Tuesday. He missed Wednesday's win at BAT.

One of the most intriguing individual battles at the BCG tomorrow will be the contest between Wiltshire Minor Counties team-mates Kevin Nash and Russell Rowe.

The pair, who will be in the visitors dressing room for Sunday's MCCA Knockout tie against Dorset at Dean Park, are set to be at the 'business end' of the action tomorrow.

Kevin Nash will spearhead Bashley's attack, with the burly Rowe opening for South Wilts.

"I always enjoy bowling at Russ - there's a few bragging rights up for grabs in the Wiltshire dressing room, so if I can nail him tomorrow, there will be a smile or two on my face," Nash laughed.

The Premier League's two leading wicket takers, Rob Hodgson and Dan Goldstraw go head-to-head in BAT's duel with Bournemouth at Chapel Gate.

Hodgson, from Tasmania, has garnered 24 wickets this season, compared with Goldstraw's 20 - but the tall BAT left-armer is angling for his fourth successive five-wicket haul tomorrow.

BAT, who beat Bournemouth in the opening 50-over match this season, recall University graduate Adam Sharp, while the Sports Club may have veteran off-spinner Ash Naik in action, dependant upon business commitments.

Andover face Havant in an interesting affair at London Road, where the visitors - without Paul Gover and Paul Loat - seek to avenge a surprise rain-ravaged defeat on the season's opening day.

Making his Havant League debut is South African-born Will Prozesky, the hard-hitting Purbrook opener, whose transfer was rubber stamped last week.

Dean Woodhouse, who injured a hamstring in the defeat by the Hampshire Academy, may return for Andover, but Luke Graham is standing by.

The Hampshire Academy are without Greg Lamb - on Twenty20 duty at The Oval - for their visit to Portsmouth, who are aiming to complete the double over the Young Hawks.

Tom Burrows returns for the Academy.

Key seam bowler Jeremy Ord is a doubtful starter for the basement battle between Old Tauntonians & Romsey and Liphook & Ripsley at the Romsey Sports Centre.

Ord damaged a hamstring in Wednesday's Twenty20 game at BAT and hobbled off the field towards the end.

Liphook will be bolstered by Chris Wright's return from Cambridge UCCE.
