CLIFT Meadow Trust: Notice has been given of the AGM on June 30, but please be aware that the time is 7.30pm and not 8pm as shown in the Bramley magazine.

PARISH council: The next meeting will be held in the village hall on Monday, at 7.30pm.

There will be an interval of 10 minutes after the financial items have been dealt with, when members of the public may ask questions and express their views.

AFTERNOON teas or coffees: On July 3, Rodney and Rosemary will be holding a tea or coffee afternoon in their garden at Brambledown, Sherfield Road, between 3pm and 5pm.

Parking is in Jibbs Meadow car park, and Brambledown can be found almost opposite the entrance to Longbridge Road.

If you would like to help, or find out more, ring 881334.

LIVING Churchyard: This is an interesting time of year in the conservation area, with blue tits nesting in the box in the butterfly corner, and dusky cranesbills appearing under Grays House wall.

Teasel plants, donated by Sandra and Ed Jonson, are doing well, and Dorothy's foxgloves are making a good showing.

Anyone interested in the project and willing to give some help will be welcome. Contact 850642 for more information.

GERMAN Road development: A reminder that comments on the proposals for the site should be with the borough council by Monday.

There has been an application for full planning permission for the erection of 277 dwellings, a 70-bedroomed nursing home and six commercial units.

The application documents are available for inspection at the borough council planning department.

Contact the council on 844844, or the parish clerk on 881420.
