Andover Golf Club recently held a successful auction of promises that resulted in over £2,000 being raised for the two captain's charities.
Lesley Compton and Sue MacDonald superbly masterminded the event and ensured 35 "promises" were auctioned on the night.
These ranged from ironing duties to dinner for 12 and from will writing to a day's clay pigeon shooting.
