THE SEASON has started well for St Mary Bourne Bowling Club with a very successful tour of Torquay.
Early league results are mixed but everyone is enjoying their bowling.
The club were hosts to teams from the Basingstoke and Bournemouth District Bowling Associations and before the game there was a minute's silence in memory of Frank Mew.
Frank was a figurehead at St Mary Bourne for many years and will be sadly missed.
