TWO naval lieutenants from HMS Collingwood in Fareham are to embark on the challenge of a lifetime next month when they cycle from Land's End to John O' Groats for Cancer Research UK.
Navy officers Phil Rogers and Chris Jones, who begin their trek on July 22, hope to complete the 900-mile journey in just under nine days.
They have already received support from the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Cycling Association, which are supplying equipment and funds, but they are still looking for further sponsorship.
