DOZENS of Southampton youngsters and their families soaked up the early summer sunshine on a fun-packed family day in Weston.
A steel band and a bouncy castle were just two of the attractions at SureStart's family day at Foxcott Close.
Visitors were given the chance to sample a picnic and children were also given free cycle helmets during the event as part of SureStart's fourth anniversary celebrations.
The event was staged to show local families what the SureStart programme has to offer.
Children under five as well as expectant mums can take part in the programme which helps with education, health and family support at three centres in the city.
