Sir.-We would like to invite the people of Basingstoke to Mobility South, the south of England's most exciting event for disabled people, on Friday and Saturday, June 4 and 5, at Newbury Racecourse.
The aim of Mobility South is to provide information and advice on all aspects of disabled living, from motoring, equipment and charities to travel and leisure-related subjects.
Now that the larger mobility shows have moved further north, there is a definite geographical gap for people in the South who are not prepared to travel such a distance.
In addition to the host of companies and charities, there will be a disabled photographic and art gallery, competitions, music and entertainment for the entire family to enjoy.
There will even be a raffle to win a flight in the Gowrings Mobility wheelchair accessible hot air balloon.
