A GROUP of super slimmers are helping to refurbish two Locks Heath community venues by shedding the pounds.
The £130 raised by Slimming World members has bought materials to protect Lockswood Community Centre users from the elements.
The kitchen facilities at the hall were also improved after B&Q lent a hand. And slimmer Shirley Taylor raised £156 towards the running costs of Locks Heath Day Care Centre.
Michelle Mackrory runs a number of classes each week at Brookfield School in Sarisbury Green and Victory Hall in Warsash.
