ANDOVER War Mem-orial Hospital's Leag-ue of Friends raised £3,000 over the weekend at their packed spring fete.
The money will go towards equipment and services at the hospital. As the new Mayor of Test Valley it was the very first public engagement for Cllr Neville Whiteley and his wife Janet.
Mike Reynolds, chairman of the League of Friends, said: "It was very successful."
The Test Valley Brass Youth Band performed and jugglers provided mesmerising entertainment.
Andover MP's wife Lady Young, president of the League of Friends, was also present at the fete.
