HERE'S your chance to vote for your Saints player of the season for 2003/04.
Voting promises be one of the closest for many years after what has been a slightly disappointing season, Saints having often promised so much but only occasionally delivered. However, there are still outstanding candidates.
James Beattie is defending the crown he emphatically won last year and, with 16 goals this season, is in with a shout. Strike partner Kevin Phillips is also a strong contender.
Early favourite is goalkeeper Antti Niemi, regarded by many as the best in the Premiership. And with Saints possessing such a solid defence, Michael Svensson and Claus Lundekvam must also come into the reckoning.
The award has been narrowed down to those players who have started at least 10 Premiership matches and are still at St Mary's.
The award will be presented before the final home game of the season against Newcastle at St Mary's on Wednesday, May 12, so get voting.
You can, for the first time, email the name of your player of the season to Adam Leitch: adam.leitch@sotonecho.co.uk (please note: only one vote per email address).
