The new Junior Table Tennis champion is Lee Stretch who beat Carl Wheatley in the finals of the tournament on Friday at the John Hanson School.
The natural style of the two players is to attack and so it proved as Lee powered his way to a first set win, 12-10.
Carl was four points adrift in the second, but pulled back to take it by the same score to level the match.
From that point it was Lee who slowly got the better of the exchanges, taking the next two sets 11-8, 11-8 to clinch the title.
