Andover CC v Thatcham CC Friendlies
Thatcham won the first warm up match for the Town's Gold League side by 20 odd runs on a solid London Road wicket last Saturday.
"It was a good work out for both batters and bowlers last week and it was good to see Toby Radford in top nick while both Richard Taylor and Luke Graham both bowled within themselves," a pleased Andover skipper told Advertiser sport.
Thatcham won the toss and decided to bat in the 45 over match.
Their total of 196 for 8 was always going to be challenging, but with a 50 run opening partnership from Mark Miller and Rob Atkins the target looked within reach.
