MEET HAMPSHIRE's very own Mr Monopoly.

Wacky accountant Josef Kollar has been appointed chairman of the board by games bosses producing a Southampton edition of the property trading game.

The 58-year-old is a self-confessed Monopoholic, having won numerous competitions including south coast and Scottish champion. Josef, who has his own Monopoly suit, has played the game in all sorts of weird and wonderful locations -including on a moving train.

But one of his favourite places for a Monopoly moment is relaxing in a bubble bath at his home in Exbury Road, Blackfield.

Josef, who lives with wife Gill, 43, and their seven cats, has a massive collection of more than 80 Monopoly games, including Russian, Spanish, Canadian, Chinese and Star Wars versions.

Now he is looking forward to adding to his collection with a Southampton edition, which London-based Winning Moves UK has promised to make in time for Christmas.

"I thought coming up with 28 places on a Monopoly board would be quite difficult in Southampton but I have already got 40 suggestions," said Josef, who already has a prototype Southampton edition and is advising games bosses on what should be included. St Mary's Stadium and WestQuay are battling it out for the hotly contested Mayfair slot.

Josef said he would like to see Southampton's three main shopping complexes - WestQuay, the Bargate and the Marlands - in place of the big London "greens" of Bond Street, Oxford Street and Regent Street.
