A HIGH-PROFILE Pompey fan could be banned from future clashes at St Mary's for his unruly behaviour - which included urinating on a seat - in this month's derby games.

John Westwood, who changed his middle names by deed poll to Portsmouth FC, was ejected from Sunday's league match after refusing repeated requests not to stand up.

In the Carling Cup clash three weeks ago CCTV cameras spotted Westwood, below, urinating on a seat in the away end.

Bosses at the two clubs will now discuss his behaviour, with Saints' chiefs warning they may ban him from future games.

Managing director Andrew Cowen said: "I suspect that the safety officers at Portsmouth Football Club would want to interview him over a range of misdoings.

"John Westwood was standing on his seat at Sunday's match. He was asked to sit down four times but, unfortunately, he was unable to comply."

He added: "We can always ban retrospectively. We can do anything retrospectively. It may be, that after consultation with the police and Portsmouth FC, that we may take that action."

A spokesman for Portsmouth FC said he was unaware of the incidents but that their stadium manager would be liasing with Saints over the incidents.

Chief Supt Paul Stickler confirmed police knew about Westwood's behaviour but that it was for the clubs to take action as he had not been arrested.

Westwood was voted the Premiership's Fan of the Month for his devotion to Pompey only last month.
