COFFEE morning on November 21: This was a great success, and donations of £180 have been sent to both St Michael's Hospice and to Macmillan Cancer Relief.

FIRST class: Oakley Scout Group will be offering its Christmas postal service again this year. For 10p per item it will deliver Christmas cards to any Oakley village address. Cards from senior or disabled citizens will be delivered free.
Take your cards, with the correct payment, along to Redwoods Estate Agents in Oakley Lane or to one of the collection points listed in December's Link magazine.
Last acceptance date is midday on Monday, December 22.
PARISH council meeting: Thursday, December 11, at St Leonard's Centre.
The public session starts at 7.50pm with the council meeting at 8pm.
CHRISTMAS bazaar: At Oakley Infant School, next Friday, December 12, from 6pm to 8pm.
