COFFEE morning: It's the coffee morning on Monday, December 8, in the Millennium Village Hall, from 10.30am.
PARISH council: I read, with interest, the response from the parish council to the borough's Rural Strategy Action Plan, and the section concerning transport and traffic.
The parish council highlights the need to do something about both the volume and the speed of the traffic coming through the village.
It believes that additional "gateway" features, particularly of the physical kind, would be a start in helping to rectify the problem, and I totally agree.
The parish council urges the borough council "to take a more radical approach to solving village traffic problems". I'll second that!
