RESIDENTS are being urged to have their say on proposed improvements to a shopping centre in the Fareham area.
An exhibition is being held at Hill Park Memorial Working Men's Club, Highlands Road, next week to explain proposed environmental improvements to Highlands Road shopping centre.
Residents are being asked to give their view on the scheme.
Councillor Arthur Mandry, executive member for planning and transportation, said: "Public consultations are a vital part of the environmental improvement scheme process.
"We want to ensure that where practical and within the budget available, we improve an area in line with what the local community wants and needs. If residents can't make it to one of the exhibition days, we hope they take the opportunity of register their comments online."
The exhibition is being held at the working men's club on Friday and Saturday.
Residents can register their views online at www.fareham.gov.uk/hjighlands, or return public consultation forms by January 5.
Environmental improvements have been carried out in the Wallington, Sarisbury and Portchester conservation areas and in the West Street, Portchester and Middle Road, Park Gate, shopping centres.
Work is due to start soon on another improvement project in the Town Quay conservation area.
