ALIEN: DIRECTOR'S CUT (15): Re-release of the classic 1979 sci-fi horror starring Sigourney Weaver. Despite being over 20 years old, this film still has the ability to shock, with the chest-buster sequence yet to be equalled.

BAD BOYS 2 (15): Will Smith and Martin Lawrence team up again as wisecracking cops Mike and Marcus, who are on a mission to stop a drug lord flooding Miami with deadly Ecstasy.

ELF (PG): Seasonal family comedy about a man who has been brought up as one of Father Christmas' elves who returns to New York to find his biological father.

FINDING NEMO (U): Cute Disney Pixar animation set in the ocean. When a young clown fish, Nemo, is caught by a diver and put in an aquarium, his dad, Marlin, sets out on an adventurous journey to rescue him.

HOLES (PG): Family drama about a boy who is wrongfully sent to a desert detention camp where he is put to work digging holes by the cruel warden. But it becomes apparent that the warden has her own motives for setting this task.

INTERMISSION (18): Black comedy about contemporary Irish life and the complicated relationships of people on the fringes of society who are searching for something.

JEREMY HARDY V THE ISRAELI ARMY (15): Documentary about the stand-up comedian standing up for the rights of the Palestinian people, travelling to the West Bank with the International Solidarity Movement.

KILL BILL - VOLUME 1 (18): Quentin Tarantino returns to the big screen with this gore-filled martial arts movie. Uma Thurman stars as The Bride, an assassin who seeks violent revenge against her former gang who tried to kill her.

THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN (12A): A group of characters from Victorian fiction, including Allan Quatermain, Captin Nemo and Mina Harker are brought together for a secret mission.

THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RINGS (PG): A chance to see the first instalment of the Lord of the Rings trilogy again.

LOVE ACTUALLY (15): British comedy about several intersecting love stories, including Hugh Grant as the Prime Minister who falls for his tea lady and Liam Neeson as a bereaved husband helping his stepson through his first love.

MASTER AND COMMANDER: THE FAR SIDE OF THE WORLD (12A): Adventure on the high seas set in Napoleonic times about the crew of a British ship who are in pursuit of a French vessel which has been plundering and destroying other ships.

THE MATRIX REVOLUTIONS (15): Starring Keanu Reeves as Neo, the final instalment of the Matrix trilogy sees the machines attack Zion and Neo go up against his arch enemy, Agent Smith.

THE MOTHER (15): After the death of her husband a woman goes to live with her children and seeks solace in the arms of her daughter's boyfriend.

PIGLET'S BIG MOVIE (U): Winnie the Pooh and co get another cinematic outing with this tale of friendship in which the gang realise that although Piglet might be the smallest among them, he has the biggest heart.

SECONDHAND LIONS (PG): Coming of age story about a boy who is unwillingly sent to stay with his eccentric uncles in Texas. They tell him stories about their adventurous pasts and the three have some new adventures together.

SPUN (18): A nightmarish journey into the lives of a group of drug addicts as they crash and burn on a three day drug bender.

SPY KIDS 3-D: GAME OVER (U): The third instalment of the Spy Kids franchise is a 3-D adventure in which crime-fighting kids find themselves inside a virtual reality computer game fighting their new nemesis, The Toymaker.
