Team Solent celebrated twin success in the Hampshire Cross-Country League fixture at Prospect Park, Reading.

Great Britain international Angus Maclean led the senior men home for his third straight victory in 26 minutes and 41 seconds, while Russell North headed up the under-15 boys' assault.

Alex Wall-Clarke, fresh from success at the 21st Cross International in Coutances, France, was the fourth under-17 man and his Team Solent clubmate John Beattie - a runner-up in Coutances - finished 20th senior man and fourth under-20.
