Andover will host a Hampshire Farmers' Market on Sunday from 10am until 2pm in the High Street.

This month there will be nearly 60 stallholders attending with a mouth-watering array of festive goodies for those beginning their Christmas shopping.

There will be lots of gift ideas such as preserves, baked goods, honey cosmetics, lavender and rosemary products, wines and ales, sweets, plants and even chillis and salsas to warm you up on a chilly day!

In addition there will be the usual fine range of free-range meat and eggs, oven-ready game, cheese and dairy products, fruit and vegetables, fish and freshly baked bread.

Mike Smales, Chairman of Hampshire Farmers' Markets Ltd and regular stallholder at Andover said: "Andover Farmers' Market is the perfect place to start planning a truly Hampshire Christmas.

"There will be plenty of unusual ideas for Christmas gifts as well as the opportunity to access a wide variety of fresh, local produce, talk directly to the producers, sample before you buy and savour the traditional atmosphere of shopping as it used to be."

The next Farmers' Market in Andover will be on Sunday 21 December.
