IT'S not the easiest thing to lose but Winchester police are appealing for the owners of this seven-feet-high wooden cross to come forward.
Two drunken young men were found walking away from the city along Alresford Road with it after pub closing time on Monday night.
After seizing the cross, made of logs and wire, police are keen to trace the owners.
