FOR those who want to learn how to send e-mail messages in time for Christmas, Age Concern Basingstoke and Deane still has spaces at its computer drop-in centre.
The centre is aimed at anyone over the age of 50 and is held in a non-classroom setting.
Age Concern's Maria Mitchell said the classes are very informal without having textbooks to follow.
She said: "Where possible we offer one-to-one sessions. Our helpful volunteers, all of whom have a good knowledge of IT, are there to assist."
Students receive a 45-minute session during which they can work at their own pace with no pressure to complete an exercise within a given time.
Sessions are free, although Age Concern asks for donations to cover the cost for the internet and room hire.
Those who enrol now will receive a free CD and booklet, Grasp the NETtle - a beginners guide to the internet.
The drop-in centre is held at Fairfields Arts Centre every Tuesday between 10am and 1pm.
For more information call Age Concern on 01256 423874.
