AFTER three years of service to more than half a million swimmers, the Tidworth Leisure Centre swimming pools are to close temporarily from 17 November for essential refurbishment and im-provement works, re-opening in early January.
All other aspects of the Tidworth Leisure Centre will continue to operate as normal throughout this period including the library, caf, Caterpillar's Playgroup, Busy Bees Crche, the fitness studio, sports hall and squash courts.
Additional activities will be introduced at discounted rates for children to replace the swimming activities and the caf will offer a discounted food and drink promotion.
