HOUSEHOLDS in Eastleigh are being given the opportunity to meet students from all over the world.
The HOST charity finds families who wish to offer their hospitality to international students studying thousands of miles from their homes.
Until now hosts had to be able to offer overnight accommodation to their guests.
But now the group plans to organise day hosting sessions where the student would simply visit for the day and return home in the evening.
Christmas and new years are shining examples of times when a student far from home would welcome the invitation to meet new friends.
