TWO Southampton teenagers had a taste of life on the ocean wave when they crewed a tall ship from Cardiff to London.
Jack Baker and Chris Burns were among a crew of 48 on an 11-day voyage on board the 60-metre Stavros S Niarchos - part of the Tall Ships Youth Trust.
The Tauntons College students joined the ship as part of the HSBC Education Trust's scheme to give young people inspirational experiences.
Both of them had a chance to take the helm as well as climb the two masts to set the sails, 120ft above sea level.
