RADIO listeners had the chance to put new Power FM presenter Rob Crisp under the spotlight today when he appeared on his first Breakfast Show.
Rob, 20, from the Isle of Wight, beat off competition from 100 other wannabes to win a six-month contract with the radio station to take over from the wacky Maximum Bob.
Rob appeared alongside presenter Rachel Brookes and flying eye travel reporter Cat James, who was standing in for regular host Rick Jackson.
Rob said: "Already I have had people asking for my autograph and friends I haven't heard from in ages are suddenly calling me.
"It was great to work with the Breakfast Show team. They are easing me into the job gently this week and then after that I will be doing stunts and wacky dares."
Listeners were today asked to phone in with questions for Rob and also to suggest a nickname for him.
Rachel Brookes said: "I am sure that Rob will be a valuable addition to our team."
