THE increasing popularity of off-road vehicles has been recognised by the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, which staged its own 4x4 show at the weekend.
Visitors to the two-day event had the opportunity to experience all the thrills and spills of off-roading, and could even have the event recorded with a professional photograph.
Younger visitors had the chance to track on their own course in Rebel Replica Mini off-road vehicles.
The latest models from Land Rover, Mercedes, Nissan and Volkswagen were on display, together with 500 trade and club stands offering a wide range of goods from parts and accessories to clothing and gadgets, all related to all-wheel drive vehicles and off-roading.
Entertainment included archery, gundogs, ferret and falconry displays, and a laser clay pigeon shooting competition to win a prize drive in a Ferrari at Goodwood Motor Circuit.
