A PLAGUE of rats descended on Nursling Primary School to star in its dramatic production of the Pied Piper of Hamelin.
The classic fairytale was given a thoroughly modern going over with a choir helping perform a Gangster Rats Rap and 120 youngsters singing and dancing their way across the stage.
Head teacher Lorina Smith said: "I think it has been brilliant.
"The talent within the school is amazing and parent feedback has been very good. We are all very proud of them."
