ALL aboard! One group of dedicated Saints fans will be making the journey to Cardiff in a way that they will never forget.

Passing motorists will get a shock when they are by greeted by around 25 Chandler's Ford supporters who have hired an open- top bus to travel to the Millennium Stadium.

Alison Butchart, 40, of Jack Close, said: "We didn't know how we were going to get to Cardiff but knew that we didn't want to get the train.

"We thought about a limo but there wasn't enough room for all of us.

"We want to make a scene and let everyone know who we support so thought the idea of an open top bus was perfect."

The group is clubbing together to pay around £1,000 to hire the bus for the day and they can't wait to deck it out in Saints flags and banners.

"There will be a carnival atmosphere the whole way and while we hope it doesn't rain, if it does, we will just have to put our brollies up."

The travel agent added: "We haven't been there since 1976 and it's going to be the best thing for Southampton Football Club. They deserve it big time."
