POLICE in Andover are hunting a woman who attacked another as she walked home from a night out with her boyfriend.
The incident happened late at night on Saturday 19 April.
"It appears the victim was walking home with her boyfriend through the underpass on Western Avenue," said Pc Cheryl Beasley from Andover police. They passed two women, one of whom was slumped on the pavement. The second woman asked the victim for money and when she refused, it's alleged she was attacked from behind," added Pc Beasley.
The attacker is said to be aged between 18 and 20 with short, dark brown hair.
The other girl had shoulder- length ginger hair.
