"There's only one team in this town," was the cry from BAT manager Andy Leader after they completed the double over near neighbours Totton.

The defeat almost certainly ends Totton's chances of securing the runners-up spot as the Tobaccomen came from 2-0 down to beat their great rivals 3-2 - amazingly for the second time this season.

Ben Thomson hit a stunning 30-yarder to give Totton an interval lead which they doubled after the restart when Thomson's shot was only parried by the keeper and David Egerton pounced for number two.

The BAT revival began after 55 minutes when Dave Puckett's through ball released Dave Roberts who coolly lobbed Wayne Shaw in the Totton goal and the same combination struck again on 68 minutes with Roberts shooting home from the edge of the penalty area.

BAT then weathered a Totton storm before Andy Chance found Puckett who crossed for substitute Dean Platt to nod in a glorious 86th minute winner.

Gosport Borough are now favourites for the runners-up spot after a 35th minute strike by 18-year-old reserve team striker Michael White earned them a 1-0 victory over fifth-placed Fareham at Privett Park.

"We need to beat Brockenhurst at home on Saturday and hope that results go our way elsewhere," said Gosport boss Mick Marsh.

Champions Eastleigh hit the 100-point mark with a 5-0 humbling of Hamble ASSC and celebrated the occasion with another goal by Matt Le Tissier.

Jimmy Anderson opened the scoring after 15 minutes with a rasping drive from the edge of the penalty area before Anderson fed Le Tissier who cut in past two defenders and drew the 'keeper before slotting home.

Two second-half headed goals by Sam Carter underlined Eastleigh's supremacy and Robbie Matthews capped a fine display with a 25-yard curler into the top corner of the net after 78 minutes.

A 1-1 draw saw Brockenhurst collect their first point from local rivals Lymington & New Milton in ten years! Matty Town gave the Linnets an early lead but Brock's Kevin James hit a tremendous 20-yard volley on 49 minutes to earn them a rare share of the spoils.

Goals in the last ten minutes by Ryan Lucas and Paul Cuglietta saw Bournemouth Poppies snatch an unlikely 2-1 victory over Christchurch who had led through Gary Horlock's 46th minute opener, while Dean Wain put Moneyfields ahead at Alton Town only for the home side to reply through Dave Bridger (2) and John Edwards to win 3-1.

Another late strike by Downton's Matt Guy gave them their second victory over Bemerton Heath Harlequins inside seven days after dumping them out of the Salisbury Hospital Cup in midweek.

Downton manager Mitch Blake joked: "That should send them scrambling for the record books and maybe Steve Slade will be able to remember us beating them now!"

In the Berkshire derby, a 65th minute goal by Bob McClay gave Thatcham Town a 1-0 verdict at AFC Newbury who had midfielder Gary Swann dismissed for violent conduct in the first half.
