SOUTHAMPTON'S own tenor sax hero Pete Wareham returns to home ground when he plays with the Marie Murphy Quartet at Southampton Jazz Club on April 8.
The John Arlott Bar on the Southampton University campus will echo to the lively jazz vocals of Scotland's Marie Murphy, a singer very much in the Anita O'Day style.
Joining Pete and Marie will be Barry Green on piano, Ollie Hayhurst on bass and Sebastien Rochford on drums.
