ALL things scientific were on offer at Rookwood School as pupils recently celebrated science week.
A variety of activities were organised for the school, covering all aspects of the science curriculum.
Two coaches from Southampton Football Club ran training sessions and advised pupils on health, diet and general fitness matters while a collection of weird and wonderful reptiles were on display to help the children broaden their horizons about the animal kingdom.
Mr Rotavator, presenter of Channel Four's schools' series Growing Plants, stopped by for a nature awareness day, helping pupils learn about all things horticultural using pots and plants donated by Neil Harvey of Weyhill Nurseries.
Colin Heath, science co-ordinator and organiser of the week, said: "This is the third year running we have held a science week at the school.
"We aim to help pupils learn about science through sport and play and encourage them to recognise its importance in our world today."
