THE SOUTHAMPTON-BORN star of Saturday Night Fever, which is at The Mayflower this week, has been accessorising his character's trademark white suit with a Saints scarf and Daily Echo red wig.
Stephane Anelli, who was brought up in Chilworth, is delighted to be back in Southampton so that he can chat with his mates about how well his favourite football team is doing.
"I've been a Saints fan since I was born," said Stephane, who plays John Travolta's role, Tony Manero, in the musical. "My late uncle had a season ticket for The Dell and he used to take me, and my grandparents have always been big fans.
"Now whenever I get a spare weekend I ring up my dad to get tickets and we go to see a game."
Unfortunately for Stephane he won't be able to make it to the FA Cup semi-final to see Saints play Watford as he will be on the road with Saturday Night Fever on the day of the match.
" I'm going to be in Glasgow but I'm going to get my mates together and find a pub to watch the match in," he said. "Beattie's my favourite player in the current squad - he's been on a bit of a roll. But when I was a kid I always wanted to meet Matt Le Tissier - he was an icon."
Saturday Night Fever is on at The Mayflower until Saturday. Box office: 023 8071 1811.
