THE Chamberlayne Arms is a pub with many faces.
By day there is certainly a family feel to it, with an impressive beer garden which has been ideal for sun worshippers on those few glorious sunny afternoons this summer.

There is a dedicated games area with pool tables and darts boards as well as numerous television screens beaming out satellite television.
It was reportedly buzzing during the World Cup and for that big sporting occasion it is surely one of the best venues in and around Southampton.

And a tasty and good value family menu certainly adds to the all-day appeal. Of an evening, it perfectly combines the feel of a traditional locals' pub with a youthful, trendy drinking hole.
