COME on kids - get your crayons and paintbrushes out!

There are just two weeks to show the most special woman in the world how much you appreciate her.

In the run up to Mother's Day the Daily Echo is inviting younger readers to Draw Your Mum and send us the colourful pictures.

What better reason to get drawing than getting the chance to lay your hands on a brand new bike for your efforts.

We've got two sparkling new bikes to give away to the children who create the best picture of their mum.

And there's a special treat in store for winning mums, who will receive a beautiful bouquet of flowers, delivered to them on the big day on Sunday, March 30.

There are two categories to enter - one for children up to the age of four and a second for children aged between five and ten.

Our team of judges will pick a winner from both sections and then decide on an overall winner, who will also receive a free family portrait to hang on the wall at home.

The prizes have been supplied by Grahame Jackson photography, of Latimer Road, Romsey, and Flowers the florist in Canute Road, Southamp-ton.

And there's an extra special treat for every child who enters our competition, as not only will their works of art appear in the Echo on Wednesday, March 26, they will also receive a free £50 voucher for a sitting at the photo studios.

All entries must be sent in on A4 paper, complete with a separate sheet of paper detailing your name, full address, age and phone number.

They should be sent to: Draw Your Mum, Promotions Department, Daily Echo, Newspaper House, Test Lane, Redbridge, Southampton SO16 9JX.

The closing date is Friday, March 21.
