A charity quiz at Arlebury Park, Alresford, raised £528 for the Alzheimer's Society.
The Winchester branch of the society incurs annual running costs of £20,000 and receives no national funding.
Chairman, Alan Fowler, thanked Jackie and Bob Sanger for organising the event and the Arlebury Sports and Social Club which donated £200.
The winners of the quiz, a team called the Latecomers, gave their prize money of £40 to the charity.
The next two fund-raising events for the Alzheimer's Society take place at The Cricketers Inn at Easton, near Winchester, next Thursday and Friday, with an Irish theme in the run-up to St Patrick's Day.
There will be a fund-raising meal on the Thursday and an auction and Irish band on the Friday.
